Twin screw extruder, like other mechanical equipment, will cause some failures when used for a long time. Below, Jayne Electric will introduce you to common faults of twin screw extruder, their causes and troubleshooting methods.
First, the main motor cannot start
Cause: The driving procedure is wrong. There is a problem with the main motor thread, and whether the fuse is burned.
Solution: Check the program and restart the car in the correct order. Check the main motor circuit. Check if the lubricating oil pump is started, and check the status of the interlocking device related to the main motor. The inverter induction power has not been discharged. Turn off the main power supply and wait for 5 minutes before restarting. Check if the emergency button is reset.
Second, the main motor makes an abnormal sound
Cause: The main motor bearing is damaged. One of the thyristors in the thyristor rectifier circuit of the main motor is damaged.
Solution: Replace the main motor bearing. Check the thyristor rectifier circuit and replace the thyristor components if necessary.
Third, the host current is unstable
Causes: uneven feeding, damaged or poorly lubricated main motor bearings, failure of a certain section of heater, no heating, incorrect screw adjustment pads, or incorrect phase, component interference
Solution: Check the feeder and remove the fault. Overhaul the main motor and replace bearings if necessary. Check whether each heater works normally and replace the heater if necessary. Check the adjustment pad and pull out the screw to check whether the screw interferes.
